Our commitment

What’s Happening Around Town aims to offer an inclusive website that visitors with disabilities can use. Our accessibility design target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA where applicable.

Current status

This website has not yet completed a documented comprehensive accessibility audit. We do not claim certified ADA or WCAG compliance. Current design changes and future development must be tested with keyboard-only use, screen readers, zoom, contrast checking, and appropriate mobile accessibility tools.

Planned improvements

We plan to evaluate alternative text, heading hierarchy, understandable links, visible keyboard focus, proper form labels and errors, accessible checkout, event calendars, location search, menus, map alternatives, captioning where applicable and contrast. Third-party features may present additional barriers requiring review.
