Welcome to What’s Happening Around Town. These terms govern use of our local events and advertising website. Some features shown are design demonstrations and are not yet functional.

Event listings and visitor use

Listings may be submitted by independent organizers. Verify event dates, locations, ticket availability, accessibility, age restrictions and fees with organizers before attending. A listing is not an endorsement or a guarantee that an event will take place. Visitors agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation or submit unlawful material.

Advertiser accounts and content

When business accounts launch, advertisers must provide accurate information and possess rights to event descriptions, photos, logos and offers they post. They remain responsible for venue permission, legal compliance, truthful pricing, appropriate age labels, cancellation notices and coupon fulfillment. We may reject, edit or remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, harmful, unlawful or infringing. Submitted content may be displayed and promoted on this website as necessary to provide the listing service.

Advertising plans and WooCommerce

Paid advertising and checkout are planned through WooCommerce but are not currently active. Pricing, posting limits, recurring billing, renewal dates, taxes, refunds and cancellation policies must be disclosed on the final plan and checkout pages before purchases are accepted. No sample pricing or mockup coupon shown on the website creates a binding offer. When payment functionality becomes available, gateway-provider terms will also apply. We do not guarantee audience size, rankings, clicks, sales or attendance.

Third-party services

Google Maps, Google advertising and measurement services, event organizers, linked businesses and future payment processors operate under their respective terms. We are not responsible for independently operated destinations to the extent permitted by law.

Service availability and liability

We aim to keep information useful and available, but do not warrant uninterrupted service or the accuracy of third-party listings. Nothing here limits rights or liabilities that may not lawfully be excluded. Paid-service liability and dispute provisions require legal review before checkout is enabled.

We may update these terms and identify material revisions. Questions may be submitted through our Contact page. The responsible operating entity and additional commercial terms will be confirmed before paid launch.
